I recently purchased one of your donated works from Studio Beluga called ‘”Hang On!” Frank shouted, and whipped his extra-long leather belt from its loop’. This work brought me back to my obsession with the Hardy Boys when I was younger. Before I even saw the title, I knew the reference immediately, almost as if you recaptured a moment of my childhood. The quote titling the work added a completely new dimension to my perspective of the Hardy Boys, adding an obviously phallic imagery and sexual relationship between the two brothers.
